Color me rad/STem night/ CONFIRMATION RETREAT 2015
This semester I had a retreat to attend to. I had to work with my confirmation teacher in order to get everyone's ideas out there. I had to work with everyone in order to make the retreat a fun activity (LEAD11-12.ACT1). Then I also had to reflect on how good a job I did. I later thought of the outcome of the retreat and it was something I was proud of (LEAD11-12.ACT4).
For taking action I decided to speak about my experience volunteering at the Color Me Rad race, and Stem Night. LEAD11-12.ACT3. LEAD11-12.ACT4.
So for stem night, nobody wanted to volunteer for Mr. Polley's activity; so, I decided to take action. I had to get used to parents who could not speak English, and translate the instructions Mr. Polley had given us in Spanish. After the whole volunteering, I really did some reflecting, and I notice I actually felt well. I discovered that I actually liked volunteering, and I didn't really care if I had missed a day off of work.
I also volunteered at the Color Me Rad race, I have been volunteering there for two years, and it has been a blast. I always meet new people, and interact with people who have personalities different from my own.
